The LCD on-board display is used for representation
of alert and service messages received from the tower.
It also allows the driver to identify, on the airport
map, D-GPS vehicle position and maintenance interests
points. The device is very useful especially in low
visibility conditions and in case of high traffic density
in the manoeuvring area. |
“Bubble function” allows
the driver to watch
vehicle equipped with ACE and moving on the
airport surface, on the on-board LCD display.
The vehicles are showed using pre-defined
colour and shape, depending on the dangerous
situation evolution.
A warning beeper is also activated in case of
impact risk warning.
Alert distances and “Bubble” dimension
are configurable. |
